The Solo Exhibition of Al Burts "The Fabric of Us" opened February 20th at Gallery Guichard VEC #51. "The Fabric of Us" explores identity as something woven-stitched from ancestry, belief, labor and resilience. Through layered imagery and symbolic portraiture, I examine what is passed down, what is worn, and what refuses to fade.
