In the video I will show you how to easily, quickly and perfectly repair damage and chips on laminate at home in 5 minutes DIY. Over time, various damages often occur on the floor (chips, dents, scratches, cracks, holes). Most often, they arise from excessive mechanical loads and falling sharp and heavy objects, which immediately damage the top layer of the surface and spoil the appearance of the floor. No one wants to immediately change the floor covering to a new one. This takes a lot of time, inconvenience and unnecessary expenses. To fix all annoying damage on the floor and laminate, I suggest using restoration materials for local repairs. They can be purchased individually or in the form of a repair kit. To fill the damage, I use hard waxes, which I fill into the damage with a soldering iron. After cooling, the wax hardens and becomes strong. After that, all excess wax must be removed using a notched trowel. For an ideal result, it is necessary to select the shades of wax and retouching materials as accurately as possible. They can be mixed with each other to obtain the necessary shades. The lost structure on the surface can be restored with waxes of different shades or retouching materials using a brush (acrylic paint). After repairing the damage, I recommend covering the surface with a protective transparent varnish (for uniform application, it is better to use an aerosol can with varnish). I use restoration materials from KONIG, but such repairs can be performed with materials from other manufacturers.
