It’s been on our list of places to visit for a while and we thought, why not camp in the Blue Mountains in the middle of winter! Another spectacular National Park, just 1.5 hours drive from Sydney. With the Conqueror UEV-490 camper trailer in tow, we were keen to find a bush camp, however after researching the area (and battling the icy winds), we ended up at a caravan park in Katoomba for the majority of our stay as most of the popular sights are ‘in town’ as such or a short drive away. Actually, Katoomba Falls and the Three Sisters lookouts are directly across the road from the caravan park - handy! In a nut shell, it's quite touristy, but despite the sub-zero temps and constant winds, this was up there with one of our most memorable trips and definitely one you need to do, if you’ve never been!
