✨Turn on CC for subtitles✨ The holidays are almost here, and if you're looking for last-minute DIY Christmas gifts that are both thoughtful and easy to make, this might be something for you. Today, I’m sharing these 5 simple yet heartfelt gifts in jars—perfect for spreading some holiday cheer. These gift ideas are beautiful, affordable, and very easy to make (most of them take less than 15 minutes). What’s your favorite jar? I would love to hear what you like to give for Christmas🎄✨ Below, you will find all the ingredients and instructions. Feel free to make just one or all of them. Recipes: 🫐 Berry Fruit Leather: 150 g blueberries 50 g raspberries 50 g black currants 1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup Blend berries into a puree. Warm gently with honey or syrup. Spread 1/4 inch thick on parchment paper (thinner for crispier pieces). Dry in the oven at 70°C for 5–6 hours. Wipe condensation from the oven occasionally. The leather is ready when it peels easily from the parchment. Let cool completely. Cut into strips or pieces. Keep the fruit leather in an airtight container, cool and dry for up to 2 weeks. 🌰 Candied Almonds: 200 g sugar 1 packet vanilla sugar (or 2 tsp vanilla extract) 1 tsp cinnamon 100 ml water 200 g almonds Use parchment paper or a silicone mat. In a non-stick pan, combine sugar, water, and cinnamon. Heat until sugar dissolves. Add almonds. Stir constantly over medium heat as the sugar thickens and coats the almonds. Spread almonds on baking sheet with parchment paper to cool completely. Once cool, store the candied almonds in an airtight container or a glass jar at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. ✨Tip: To clean the pan, fill it with warm water and add some dish soap. Wait a few minutes until the sugar comes off. 🌸 Hibiscus Face Mask: 150 g kaolin clay 2-4 tablespoons of dried hibiscus flowers 3-5 dried flowers to sprinkle on top Fill your jar with kaolin clay. Grind dried hibiscus flowers and mix well with clay. Add some hibiscus powder and dried flowers on top. Usage: Combine the mixture with rosewater or aloe vera gel until smooth. Always patch test if you have sensitive skin. Apply the mask evenly to clean, dry skin. Avoid the eye area. Leave on for 10–15 minutes, or until slightly dry (don’t let it fully harden). Use warm water and a soft cloth to gently remove the mask. 🛁 Lavender Bath Salt: 200 g Epsom/Himalayan salt 200 g sea salt 10–15 drops lavender essential oil 1–2 tbsp dried lavender flowers Optional: 2-3 drops rose essential oil and 1–2 drops purple food coloring (for color, mix with the essential oils first) Combine Epsom/Himalayan salt and sea salt. Stir in the lavender essential oil. If using food coloring, mix it into the oil first for even distribution. Add dried lavender for a natural, floral touch. Store in an airtight container or glass jar. Usage: Add 200 g of bath salt to your next bath. 🍪 Cookies: First layer: 150 g rolled oats Second layer: 150 g brown sugar Third layer: 50 g ground nuts of your choice Fourth layer: 150 g flour and 1 tsp baking powder Last layer: 80 g ground chocolate Optional: Some brittle After opening, add 150 g melted butter and 50 g milk. 1 egg is optional. Mix everything and refrigerate dough for at least one hour. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop dough (about 3 tbsp each) into balls and place on the baking sheet, leaving 2 inches between them. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until edges are golden and centers are soft.
