The Tion Hegemony is on the edge of absolute chaos. A mysterious outbreak of the Rakghoul virus has ravaged the region, and the Tion nobility have sealed their borders in an attempt to stop the virus from spreading further. But their actions may have come too late; several worlds have already been lost to the plague, and now another world, Kaon, has fallen victim to the spreading virus. Thousands have perished, and countless more have been warped into deadly monstrosities. In the midst of the devastation, a small band of survivors struggle to fight off the nearly endless horde of twisted monstrosities. Realizing the threat that the Rakghoul plague poses, both the Empire and Republic assemble strike teams to head to Kaon, rescue the survivors and learn the truth behind the Rakghoul outbreak.
