I lost both of my parents to their addiction to alcohol: my dad when I was 10, and my mother more recently, back in 2023. The biggest difference I experienced in losing both of them was simple: JESUS. I have grieved without hope, and I've grieved with hope. And I was able to see Him begin to weave redemption into my family's story, even in the middle of the pit with alcoholism.
