I'm eager to share all the joy with you! Imagine celebrating Eid al-Adha in the heart of Havana, Cuba—a city where rich culture and warm hospitality blend beautifully with faith. At the Abdallah Mosque, the spirit of unity was palpable. People from all over the world came together, dressed in vibrant attire, offering prayers shoulder to shoulder in peace and devotion. The atmosphere was filled with heartfelt greetings of “Eid Mubarak”, shared laughter, and the soft rhythm of Arabic recitations mingling with the tropical breeze. As I stepped outside the mosque, the colorful colonial streets of Old Havana came alive with joy. Families strolled together, children smiled shyly, and locals welcomed visitors as if they were old friends. I met kind souls from Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas—all brought together by faith and celebration. The juxtaposition of Havana’s pastel buildings, vintage cars, and the soft sounds of prayer made it a profoundly moving and visually stunning experience.
