Welcome everyone on board the Lufthansa A350-900 on this flight from Dubai to Munich! My son Eric and myself went to visit grandma for a weekend in the Netherlands and this seasonal winter flight to Munich was the one to offer us the best and friendliest departure/arrival times. As some of the regulars might already know, my passion for aviation was mostly fueled as a kid by great flight attendants that served me during my childhood and made my day. I still remember them today. And now, +30 years later, history repeats itself but for my son. This time it was the first time that Eric bought a bunch of lollipops and said it was “for the pilots” (he calls all crew pilots..) During the, he bade me farewell as he was going to give candy “to the pilots”. He spend a great amount of time chatting to them in the galley, talking about school, that he was born in Dubai and such. Each crew were so kind to him and recognized him whenever they walked by. And on return to his seat he found a great load of gifts. There you go, Lufthansa has got themselves a loyal customer for life! We connected on a LH flight operated by Air Dolomiti to Amsterdam, where we got spoiled a little more. From that moment onwards he keeps asking me to fly back to grandma, but “going to Germany first”, meaning flying Lufthansa. Join us and see for yourselves! Enjoy!
