At 1:18 the lights on the Mile Post 44.8 signals turn on and we see that there is a green light for an eastbound CSX train that should be coming on track #2. At 1:36 the engineer of train #I017 starts to blow the horn to warn of his approach to the Berry Road crossing. 2:12 We hear another horn warning of an approaching train. You pan over to the Norfolk Southern tracks as Norfolk Southern train #206 comes into view with a Union Pacific engine and a BNSF engine powering the train. You turn toward the west and we see the two trains as they pass. At 2:48 a DPU appears on CSX train #I017. At 2:57 you pan back to the Norfolk Southern tracks to watch Norfolk Southern train #206. Then you face east so that we see both trains passing Berry Road. At 3:11 Norfolk Southern train #206 finishes crossing Berry Road. You pan to the CSX tracks as CSX train #I917 continues to pass. 3:28 You pan to the west and we see another CSX train approaching on track #2. This is the train that had the green light on track #2 when we saw the lights turn on on the Mile Post 44.8 signals. At 3:42 CSX train Q560 starts to cross Berry Road. At 4:07 an ex Amtrak express boxcar appears on CSX train Q560. At 4:23 another ex Amtrak express boxcar appears in train #QQ60. At 4:33 CSX train #I017 finishes crossing Berry Road. At 5:39 CSX train #Q560 finishes crossing Berry Road and you zoom in on the end of the train. At about 6:06 train #Q560 passes the Mile Post 44.8 signals. At 6:52 the gates at the Van Buren Road crossing go up. Usually the lights on the Mile Post 44.8 signals have gone out by the time an eastbound CSX train finishes crossing the Van Buren Road crossing. At 7:17 the lights on the Mile Post 44.8 signals go dark. 7:58 We are at the CSX Middle Road crossing on 3 March 2022 looking east as CSX train #I165 is approaching. CSX train #I165 is the daily Canadian Pacific run through double stack train from from Montreal, Quebec, Canada to the Canadian Pacific's Schiller Park Intermodal Yard in Schiller Park, Illinois. This train comes from Montreal as Canadian Pacific train #143 and comes to the CSX Seneca Yard in Buffalo, New York where the Canadian Pacific crew gets off the train and a CSX crew takes over the train. This is when CSX train #I165 is created. After CSX train #*I165 passes, we watch it head around the curve toward the elevated tracks through Dunkirk, New York. 11:06 We are at the CSX Middle Road crossing looking east at the curve coming off the east end of the elevated tracks through Dunkirk, New York. At 11:12 CSX train #I166 makes an appearance as it comes into the curve toward Middle Road on 5 March 2022. CSX train #I166 is the counterpart of CSX train #I165 which we saw in the portion of this video just before this part of the video. CSX train #I166 starts in the Canadian Pacific's Schiller Park Intermodal Yard in Schiller Park, Illinois and terminates in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This train stops at the CSX Seneca Yard in Buffalo, New York where a Canadian Pacific crew takes the train into Canada. Once the Canadian Pacific crew takes over the train, the train number changes to Canadian Pacific train #142. 13:51 We are on the south side of the Norfolk Southern Middle Road crossing looking to the west at Norfolk Southern train #22K on 5 March 2022. Norfolk Southern train #22K is powered by two BNSF engines. At 16:37 the gates go up. At 17:20 you turn right onto Middle Road and stop recording. 17:29 We are at the Berry Road crossing in Pomfret, NY on 8 March 2022. We are looking at the Norfolk Southern tracks where the lights are flashing on the Norfolk Southern gates and they are going down. AT 17:53 the first of two BNSF engines powering Norfolk Southern train #22K crosses Berry Road. At 18:56 Norfolk Southern train #22K finishes crossing Berry Road. At 19L19 we hear the Norfolk Southern defect detector at Norfolk Southern Mile Post 46.3 report on your scanner that there are no defects on train #22K. At 19:43 the defect detector repeats its message. 19:53 We are at the CSX Middle Road crossing on 22 February 2022 looking east at CSX train #Q560 coming toward the curve at the east east end of the elevated tracks through Dunkirk. At 23:11 a mid-train DPU appears. At 22:49 a lone DODX flat car with three HUMVEEs and two trailers appears in the train. 24:47 Outro begins and terminates at 20:54.
