This is what we do to prime our caliburn pods - 1-Fill pod with juice 2-Place drip-tip back on pod 3-Plug the bottom of the pod with my thumb and then suck juice into the wicking chamber 5 times. 4-Remove thumb from bottom of the pod and then suck juice up through the wicking chamber until I can feel it start to make it's way up into the drip tip. Repeat steps 3 & 4 one more time 5-Let pod sit for 3-5 minutes. Not too long otherwise juice will leak out of the pod and onto your table. 6-Place pod on device and take a few one second light puffs, like a cigar. You just want to lightly break in the wicking without going full burn. Remove pod from device and repeat steps 3 & 4 again 7-Another few light cigar puffs. Repeat 3 & 4. 8-Good to go. This method saturates the wick fully. If you begin to taste diminished flavor or suspect dry hits at any point during the first day with a fresh pod just repeat steps 3 & 4 again. --- *Optimal PG/VG Ratio for the Caliburn is around 60/40.
