Ladies and gentlemen... The last domestic 747 operated by United signals the end of an era. Many years ago the Jumbo Jet dominated major airports across the US, and seeing domestic flights operated by the 747 was the norm... But today, United and Delta are the last US carriers to operate the 747 on commercial routes. Both are set to retire the iconic American-made jetliner by the end of this year. In fact, to fly on a 747 for the first time was more than a dream come true, not to mention that my first 747 flight would be the last United Airlines domestic 747 flight. Ever since I was a little boy, my dad would take me to the airport to watch planes take off and land, and as I fell in love with all airplanes, I wanted to fly the best of the best, the 747. Now, as a man, I flew cross country on one of the most historic Boeing 747 flights. The Boeing 747 is the best, its story is told by aviation enthusiasts and non aviation enthusiasts alike as it is the most recognized airliner of all time. The Horizon Productions SFL team pushed the outside of the outside of the envelope to properly document this flight so that the legacy of the Boeing 747 can live on through our YouTube channel.
