Driving 650 Miles to Welcome Genesis to WEC | Genesis GV60 Roadtrip

This is the start of something big. Join me as I drive a 650 mile round trip across Europe to the legendary Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps to take the Genesis brand to it's new home the World Endurance Championship (WEC) before they go racing in the series next year as Genesis Magma Racing. I wanted to be there right at the heart of endurance racing to get an understanding of what Genesis will be competing in next year, my first WEC event and definitely not my last! I’ll give you a first look at what Genesis Magma Racing is all about, what they’ve been up to so far in 2025, the potential new rivalry with Toyota Gazoo Racing and and explore what their entry into WEC and the LMDh class could mean. There’s no better time to talk about it than Le Mans weekend, the jewel in the WEC crown - the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2025, an event that Genesis Magma racing will be competing at in the LMP2 class! This isn’t just about racing though, it’s about the journey too. Driving from the UK to Belgium gave me a perfect opportunity to find out what the Genesis GV60 Premium is really like over long distances. From charging stops to long stints on the motorway using the ADAS systems and winding roads through the Ardennes, this trip was the ideal way to assess how it performs on a proper cross-continental adventure. 🔌 Huge thanks to Genesis UK for lending me the GV60 for this journey.
