October morning looping on the cello

Here is to another year on YouTube! I thought it'd be nice to change things up every now and then. Last year I've experimented with some improvised music, and this year, apart from Celtic music on the cello, I'm going to include videos with my new loop pedal. I am new to looping and need to figure out how to make the melody stand out more in terms of volume. I think maybe changing the mic input every time I am going to play the melody? Although this does seem uncomfortable. For this video I just mixed the sound from my phone with the audio, which, I find, is not ideal in terms of sound.
