Yes! But, coffee first. We've all heard those words first thing in the morning or before a meeting. Coffee has become this common commodity fuelling our lives, omnipresent, packed on shelves, sold in coffee shops and yet, slowly disappearing. Today, we celebrate #InternationalCoffeeDay. Picked, washed, pulped, dried and then roasted, coffee beans are grown for 3 to 4 years by millions of farmers across Latin America, Asia and Africa. But, there's a growing crisis on the horizon and it's called climate change. Coffee plants can only be grown in specific places on earth and with the rise of temperature, full-sun agriculture practices destroying the soils, those areas are shrinking. And in Ethiopia, original and cultural home of the coffee, the first impacts can already be felt. Iyasu Adusu, project coordinator for PUR Projet, tells his story and work to save the future of coffee. Thanks to our local partners and cooperatives as well as Nestlé Nespresso SA and the Louis Dreyfus Foundation to be working with us in the Sidama region. Over the last 5 years, together we have planted 784,491 trees as well as supporting more than 7,000 coffee producers. #PlantForGood
