The Keeley HALO Andy Timmons Dual Echo Pedal replaces my MXR Carbon Copy Delay... In this unboxing video I give a quick and easy overview of the ‘Halo’ pedal from Keeley which I purchased to replace my MXR Carbon Copy Delay (Mini). First of all, the Keeley pedal designed by Robert Keeley and Andy Timmons is without doubt a pedal to consider if delay and echo are important to you. This particular unit comes pre-loaded with 8 delay/echo pre-sets, all of which are very useable and easy enough to adjust to suit if required. Making up your own pre-sets is also simple enough to do and save for future use. The pedal does come at a price which is reflected in the build construction and the various features available. Choose between mono and stereo, add an external foot-switch for greater on-the-fly control of effects, along with the ability to add a TRS cable for an Expression pedal. The pedal also features a secondary control function where the control knobs can be used to shape and alter various aspects of tone giving even greater choices. While I’m pleased with this new purchase, it sadly replaces my MXR Carbon Copy Delay that was purchased at the beginning of my return to guitar playing while I was at the time using digital amplifiers. I hope this video is helpful, particularly to those who are not keen on pedals that have so many functions available that they can be off-putting… I have tried to illustrate this so, if that’s you… then you should find this beneficial… it is a very nice pedal… Enjoy!
