Reproducible research: the challenges & opportunities of a scientist who wears many hats
Dr Emily Sena (Stroke Association Kirby Laing Foundation Senior Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh) presents this Departmental Seminar. ABSTRACT: The challenges faced ensuring reproducibility of preclinical research and the translation of findings to a clinical setting are well documented. I will discuss the magnitude of this problem, the opportunities and responsibilities of different research stakeholders to ensure that research is reproducible and my experiences, in different stakeholder roles, on tackling these challenges.
