Poly-T Plus: Sublimation Coating for Cotton & Cotton Blends Poly-T Plus is a 1-step formula that removes chemical sizing and coats cotton fibers with a polyester resin in one spray. Since this 1-step spray is pressed wet to dry, it will allow you to prep and sublimate a shirt in 5 minutes. In this video I will show you some tips on getting a great press with Poly-T Plus Spray. If you are local you can purchase Poly-T Plus from us at Creative Design & Supply 3030 Knolin Drive Bossier City, Louisiana 71111 as we do not offer shipping due to this is a chemical. When using sublimation paper, select "plain" paper print setting. "Presentation matte" over saturates sublimation paper altering colors and making images look muddy and dark, This setting also causes roller marks, ink bleed and staining. Only use the "presentation matte" paper setting with multipurpose paper like Hammermill paper. Use highest quality print setting for both types of paper. The instructions listed are directly from Poly-T Plus website. #1 Pre-heat press to 320* #2 Cut a piece of cotton batting the size of your image area and place it on the heat press. #3 Spray shirt until damp. Lay wet shirt over cotton batting, cover with parchment paper ( regular paper will stick). Always use same side of parchment paper so wet Poly-T Plus doesn't touch the heat platen. Press with heavy pressure at 320* for 30 seconds. #4 Spray 2nd coat of Poly-T Plus. Cover with parchment paper and press at 320* for 20 seconds. #5 Pre-heat press to 385* F. Wait for Poly-T Plus to completely dry. #6 Pre Press for 10 seconds to remove any excess moisture. #7 Sublimate with cotton batting under shirt and 2 sheets of butcher paper on top of sublimation paper at 385* F for 70 seconds with heavy pressure. **Spray water or alcohol through sprayer to avoid clogging. No need for tape or tacky spray when using Poly-T Pressing Pillow set https://creativedesignsupply.com/4pk-... www.creativedesignsupply.com #sublimation #sublimationtutorial
