The Choristers Are Back! Please join us for Cathedral Day Evensong on Sunday, January 25 at 5:00 PM, as we celebrate the return of our Cathedral Choristers. This service marks their debut of 2026, and we look forward to welcoming their voices back into our worship. Choral Evensong will be sung by the Cathedral Schola and Choristers, with our interim Organist Michael Lawrence, under the direction of Seonjeong Park. The music for this festive Evensong centers on themes of gratitude, wisdom, and God’s abiding presence. From Henry Purcell’s joyful call to thanksgiving in the Introit to Will Todd’s The Call of Wisdom as the anthem, the service invites us to reflect on God’s guidance and faithfulness in the life of the Church. Together, psalms, canticles, and hymns shape an evening of praise and reflection, fitting for this celebration of our cathedral community. The Friends of Cathedral Music will host a celebratory reception following the service, complete with refreshments. We hope you’ll join us for this special evening of music, worship, and fellowship.
