First Steam up the Conwy Valley line since storms in 2019 48151 & 45690 'Leander' 03/08/2019.

Mrs M and I decided to travel up to North Wales today, to see the first steam Excursion up the Conwy Valley Line to Blaenau Ffestiniog since the terrible damage to the line since the storms earlier this year. The motive power was 48151 and 45690 'Leander', and in the first clip, I returned to Roman Bridge to capture the pair climbing the final stages of the climb to Blaenau. At Blaenau Ffestiniog we see the locos run round their train, and propel their train to the Centre Road to allow a local train to use the platform. We then went down to Llandudno Junction, where the locos ran round their train and depart in torrential rain on the final part of their return journey to Chester.
