It is irregular heart-shaped island containing an estimated area of 10.7751 hectares, more or less bounded on all sides by Carigara Bay, and facing the islands of Samar to the East and South. It could be reached within 40 minutes to 1 hour ride by boat from Pinamopoan Fish Port in the east, and 5 to 10 minutes from its Mother- Barangay Gayad in the south.
