All 3 super powers engaged in massive shows of force this week. China held a huge parade displaying its military, which has been advancing rapidly to try to compete with America. Russia held naval celebrations across its territory and bases as far as Syria and Crimea showcasing their impressive naval ability. The U.S began a joint exercise with Georgia and several other nations in what is seen as a prelude to Georgia's application to join NATO. The U.S also conducted a successful test of the THAAD anti missile system.
