In the Year 5 Apex Legends Global Series Open Tournament, the structure allowed for 160 teams to compete from around the world. A series of never before seen scale allowed for chaos and aggression to define lobbies from start to finish. While teams like Alliance, Shopify Rebellion, 100 Thieves, NRG and others climbed to the top, other notable teams like NAVI, Aurora, and Crazy Raccoon fell behind. New teams also made a name for themselves, most iconically Twerkaholics, who capitalized on the brutality of the early lobbies of the tournament to show off their fighting ability. However despite the high number of edge teams that plagued the tournament, even making it into the Match Point Finals, at the end of the weekend, The Falcons, a team of the most proven players in the world, Imperialhal, Zer0 and Waltzy proved that to win you need to put the aggression aside and do what it takes to secure the victory.
