Easy Vegan General Tso's Chicken (Cauliflower)

Vegan General Tso's Chicken (Cauliflower) *SUBSCRIBE*!!!!!!!!!!! This recipe is perfect for any sauce. You can use many different sauces with this recipe. Great to pair with rice, noodles, broccoli etc....... General Tso’s Cauliflower Recipe Ingredients: About 4 cups of cauliflower florets 1 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of black pepper 1/2 cup of vegan milk 2 cups of flour of your choice. (I used spelt flour but all purpose flour works also) 1/3 cup + 2 Tbsp cornstarch 1 jar of Asian General Tso stir fry sauce Oil, for frying Instructions: First cut up your cauliflower into florets. To save time on preparation, you can also use frozen cauliflower florets. You will have to prepare them based on the package instructions. Once you have your cauliflower florets, you are going to season them with 1tsp of salt, 1sp of pepper and mix. Make sure you give your cauliflower a good toss. You don’t want to over season the cauliflower. Next add 2 cups of flour and 1/3 cup of cornstarch to a bowl or Ziplock bag. Add your seasoned cauliflower and coat the cauliflower with the flour/cornstarch mix. Now deep fry your cauliflower like wings. Once your cauliflower is nice and golden, take them out and move them to a place to cool off and to allow the excess oil to drip off. Now mix 1/2 cup of almond milk and 2 Tbsp of cornstarch in a bowl. Coat your fried cauliflower in your wet batter, then transfer to dry batter and fry again for a couple of minutes. You want your cauliflower extra crispy and crunchy in order for the cauliflower to withstand the weight of the sauce. After your cauliflower is done frying allow it to cool off for a few minutes. Now transfer the cauliflower to a mixing bowl and add your general tso’s sauce. Now toss your cauliflower in the sauce. Once nicely coated, add to a plate and ENJOY!!!!!
