She announced her exit on July 21 and plans legal action.  In the wake of her departure, 12 of the 13 affiliated VTubers—including heavyweights like Kson and Projekt Melody—left VShojo, with many citing personal unpaid dues and emotional betrayal.  CEO Justin “Gunrun” Ignacio later admitted funds intended for charity were repurposed to keep the company afloat, and that further investment failed to save the agency—leading to its official shutdown announcement.  Creator-first branding collides with financial failure – VShojo touted creator independence, yet withheld critical donations & wages. Ironmouse’s integrity vs. corporate betrayal – She risked legal heat to demand accountability and restore lost funds via a community-driven fundraiser—raising nearly $1M.  Legal fallout is real – Legal experts outline that withholding pledged funds—even when routed through a proxy—is potentially actionable, especially when tied to charitable promises not fulfilled.  Community solidarity matters – The VTuber exodus and fan outrage reflect a demand for business transparency and ethical stewardship.
