[KHI C151 075/076 - Joyride from NS3 Bukit Gombak to NS1 Jurong East A] Date filmed: 20 August 2024 Time of recording: 0937hrs Towards: (4) Jurong East, Platform A Train Model: Kawasaki Heavy Industries C151 (GTO-VVVF Variant) Train Run: 429 Depot of Origin: Ulu Pandan Depot Final Destination Depot: Bishan Depot Carriage filmed at: 2075 door A4/B4 area (No. 2 end) AM/PM/Full Day: Full Day Late Night Service (Last Yishun Tonight) This video features a Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) C151, trainset 075/076, which is from Ulu Pandan Depot (UPD), to serve the North-South Line (NSL) for the whole day, from NS3 Bukit Gombak to NS1 Jurong East stations, bound for NS1 Jurong East - Platform A. For the entire of the year 2026, I will be uploading backlog KHI C151s videos that I currently have, slowly releasing them day by day for nostagia purposes. Enjoy them while you can! This was filmed when KHI C151s were still allowed to be deployed onto Full Day or Late Night deployment runs, before only being restricted to run during the peak hours from October 2024 onwards, owning to multiple issues that surfaced after EMU 065/066 derailment incident in September 2024. On a Full Day Slot which requires the train to last all the way till late at night where it will be doing the Last Train to Yishun Tonight. But, here is one of the 2 strong motors that is present on EMU 075/076, and one of them being on carriage 2075 door A4/B4. Since EMU 075 was leading, strong acceleration can be heard. Trainset 075/076 has unfortunately been retired from the entire NSEWL network, with EMU 076 being sent for scrapping on 11th June 2025 and EMU 075 on 13th June 2025. 📲 Follow me on socials!
