[A] New Meets Old! | 2020 Schindler 5500 MRL @ FOUR4 EAP Carpark, Mitsubishiville

Guess what? FOUR4 Apartments—my fictional home in Mitsubishiville—has just had a new carpark built into the hill that it sits on! This is all part of the EAP, or Easier Access Plan, to ensure better accessibility to the apartment complex, as the hill that it sits on is over 700 metres tall, and the current road up it is… not in the greatest state. (Plus, it's certainly not for pedestrians to walk up…) This work began at the beginning of February 2020 and finished much earlier than expected, in mid-January 2021. There are now two new lifts that are technically part of FOUR4 — the ones that take you all the way up the big hill, and the ones that just serve the carpark (these ones). Now, before you guys have a go at me in the comments, these are legitimately 5500's, they've just been styled to look like NZ-style M-Series from the late-90's/early-2000's. I still have no idea where they got the parts from — maybe they had these spare from a lift that no longer exists? Anyway, apart from the interestingly mismatched fixtures there isn't really much else to go on about these elevators as they are otherwise just your standard but nice 5500 MRL's that serve 8 floors.
