Breakfast: We started our day with a traditional South Indian breakfast of idli and vada with coconut chutney at a local restaurant, setting the tone for our culinary adventure. Morning: Our first stop is the revered Jogulamba Devi Shaktipeeth in Alampur. This ancient temple, dedicated to Goddess Jogulamba, is one of the 18 Maha Shakti Peethas and holds immense spiritual significance. Lunch: After our visit, we enjoyed a hearty meal of biryani and kebabs at a nearby dhaba, known for its flavorful local cuisine. Afternoon: Next, we arrived at the beautiful Yaganti Uma Maheshwari Temple, famous for its unique architecture and the legend of the sage Agastya. Snack: On our way to our night stop, we tried some local snacks, including stuffed parathas and chai. Night: We concluded our day in the historic town of Gandikota, enjoying dinner at a local eatery specializing in traditional Andhra meals, with a variety of curries and rice. Day 2: Morning: We woke up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise at Gandikota, surrounded by mesmerizing cliffs and the flowing Penna River. Breakfast: After catching the sunrise, we had breakfast at our accommodation—hot dosas served with sambar and chutney. Morning to Afternoon: After soaking in the views, we explored the Gandikota Fort, renowned for its history and impressive architecture. Lunch: We packed a picnic lunch of simple yet delicious roti and sabzi to enjoy at one of the scenic spots in the fort. Afternoon: Our adventure then took us to the stunning Belum Caves, the largest cave system in India. Here, we explored fascinating geological formations. Snack: Before heading back, we enjoyed local street food—pani puri and bhel puri. Night: We wrapped up our journey and headed back to Hyderabad, arriving at 10 PM, satisfied and full of experiences.
