Step 1 Base Makeup Begin by applying a base of silver and light blue water activated makeup on the eyelid and a splash of colour on the cheekbone. next apply dark purple and dark blue just above the outside tip of the eyebrow, cheekbone and frame the outside corner of your eye makeup While your paint is still wet, apply matching silver glitter, and brush away any fallout with a sponge Step 2 using the stencil Now I will get to use my stencil! Pick a cute little cluster of stars and load your sponge with silver paint. Make sure to hold the stencil firmly in place while tapping the makeup on with your sponge. Continue holding your stencil in place so we can apply silver glitter while the makeup is still wet. Ta Da! Repeat this same process creating silver stars on top of the dark blue and purple base on the cheekbone Super pretty! Now we are ready for the big one! Make sure you place the stencil as flat to the skin as possible. I really wanted this star to pop, so I am tapping on black makeup and highlighting with purple glitter. Tada! Perfecto! Next repeat this process with some little star clusters above the eyebrows and on the cheek bone. Step 3 finishing touches Eyeliner is an important step to remember as it provides a beautiful frame that makes your eye pop! Fling! Swirl, fling fling! It's time to add some movement to our artwork! Using dark purple, paint a swirl and some teardrop designs shooting around the stars. Finish up this side by going over your same swirls designs with white to really make our stars explode. Remember to add a few strategic dots and we are Almost finished... Let's add a little hint of a design on the other cheek with a single glittering black and purple star tattoo - don't forget those magical dots! Last but not least super sparkling glitter lips! And there we go! A bouquet of exploding stars! I love it. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and are inspired to try face painting with stencils.
