[TRIP REPORT] Singapore Airlines Flight 906 - Boeing 737 MAX 8 - Singapore » Davao » Cebu (Economy) An amazing flight by Singapore Airlines! They have truly kept their promise to have a world class experience, no matter how short the journey. What a great way to fly! This is our fourth flight review on this channel. Today, I am flying on a Boeing 737 MAX 8, operated by Singapore Airlines to Cebu via Davao. This is a triangular flight historically operated by former Singapore Airlines subsidiary, SilkAir. Singapore Airlines acquired this route on 1st April 2022, after 2 years of this route absent from the network due to COVID-19. Singapore Airlines acquired the Boeing 737 MAX 8 in April 2021, but started flying it in November 2021 with refreshed cabins. I am aware of the controversy of the Boeing 737 MAX, but I am here to review the flight, not comment about the controversy. It has been 10 months since Singapore operated the MAX, and I think it is working well for Singapore Airlines! It’s great to see narrow body aircraft operating for Singapore Airlines again, the last narrow body for Singapore Airlines being the Boeing 757-200.
