This discussion was part of our “Stronger Together” pledge with Northeast Ohio healthcare systems to collaborate for the benefit of our community and address complex public health needs. Panel participants described the high patient capacity levels at hospitals, the omicron variant, vaccines, unvaccinated patients, testing and therapeutics. In addition, a nurse shared her personal experience caring for patients who have COVID-19, and another nurse shared why she chose to get vaccinated after initially being hesitant.
