Many people consider the CL to simply be a coupe version of the W220 chassis S class but the Stuttgart engineers took this car on as a labour of love and made it some much more. I remember back to the early 2000's when the CL55 was the F1 safety car. Seeing ABC suspension in action at high speed was almost comical. NO LEAN harkening back to the Williams cars that foiled SENNA'sWC hopes with the cars freakish ability to stay flat no matter what the corner or surface terrain. The S class is an over engineered paragon of smoothness with it's CV of long service life you can feel it in this 150k mile car that still drives like a new car. Amazing.
