This video looks at the performance of TTArtisan’s new 75mm f1.5 lens, and compares the results with a Helios 40. The lens is based on the Biotar optical design used by the legendary and very expensive Carl Zeiss Jena 75mm f1.5, and the Helios 40 (85/1.5). Lenses that have been described by some as the “kings of bokeh” and classic portrait lenses, with distinctive swirls in out of focus areas.
