This time I took a walk from Ogikubo to Nishi-Ogikubo in Tokyo. Ogikubo is a part of Tokyo from which you can head to Mejiro and Shinjuku. It is a town that retains the atmosphere of a downtown area, with a mix of residential and shopping areas. Nishi-Ogikubo is also a town that retains vestiges of the good old days. The shopping area in front of the station is lined with many cozy shops and is a bustling town in the evenings and at night.
