"Not Gonna Change" was released as the follow-up single to "Am I the Same Girl". It reached number 49 on the UK Singles Chart[2] and number 22 on the U.S. Billboard adult contemporary chart.[3] This song was subsequently remixed by Frankie Knuckles, and the dance mix of "Notgonnachange" peaked at number 21 on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart during the summer of 1992.[4] In line with the album theme, Corinne Drewery also grew out her hair from her trademark bob which had become a visual signature for their early years. Grammy-nominated Swing Out Sister — comprised of Corinne Drewery (vocals), Andy Connell (keyboards), and original drummer Martin Jackson — found immediate success in 1987 with their infectious hit Breakout. Their elegant blend of pop, jazz, and cinematic soul won them legions of fans and critical acclaim throughout the 1980s and beyond. Following the success of Cherry Pop’s Blue Mood, Breakout & Beyond, this companion release brings together five essential studio albums from the band’s mid-career period - many of which have been long out of print: Don't miss the chance to get their new box set, "Certain Shades of Limelight", released by Cherry Red Records. It compiles 8 albums from 1994 to 2004, including some that have been out of print for years, remastered Tracks, Bonus Tracks and Rarities & artwork illustrations by Corinne Drewery. 8-CD Box Set & Track List Available Here: "Certain Shades of Limelight": https://www.cherryred.co.uk/swing-out...
