Identifying references to other media within Winx Club is something that has been done for over a decade now. Here is a compilation of all the animated references that us fans have discovered so far, with side-by-side comparisons! ✨ It is ABSOLUTELY common practice in the animation industry to use references for drawings and rotoscoping, but it's always interesting to see what the original animation looked like and see how the artists at Rainbow transformed them to incorporate them into the Winx series. A huge thanks to everybody who discovered any of these over the years.
