Weatherization Program Notice (WPN) 22-9 provides new detailed guidance on using leveraging funds under different circumstances. In this webinar, Lead Policy Advisor for Technical Operations, Derek Schroeder, will explain the mechanics of traditional braiding, and explain options for co-funding individual measures. Participants learned when to include or exclude supplemental measures in the DOE energy audit, and how to deliver measures with an individual SIR of less than 1.0. Presenters also explained how states can un-restrict LIHEAP WAP funds, modify landlord contribution requirements, and access a percentage of DOE WAP funds for building leveraging capacity.
