Brief about Ravinder Bolangdy: Ravinder Bolangdy is a highly accomplished aviation and logistics leader with nearly 45 years of global experience across India, Asia Pacific and international markets. His career spans senior leadership roles at Swissport, Hyderabad Menzies Air Cargo, Air India SATS, DHL, DSV, BAX Global and other leading logistics organisations, giving him deep end-to-end exposure to air cargo, freight forwarding, multimodal logistics and asset-intensive operations. Most recently as General Manager – Cargo, Asia Pacific at Swissport, he led regional cargo strategy across Australia, oversaw operations in Sydney and Melbourne, supported complex RFPs and operationalised global initiatives including forwarder handling, ACMI and e-commerce. He played a critical role in terminal licensing, IT system implementation (Cargo Spot, Customs ICS), and securing board approvals for strategic joint ventures in Indonesia and Bangladesh, including onboarding Australia’s first Anchor Forwarder Handling customer. Earlier, as CEO of Hyderabad Menzies Air Cargo and Head Cargo – India at Air India SATS, Ravinder held full P&L responsibility while building scalable cargo platforms, expanding hinterland connectivity and strengthening pharma and e-commerce verticals through digital transformation and regulatory excellence. His leadership delivered RA3, GDP, GSDP and pharma certifications, customs facilitation centres and cold-chain infrastructure upgrades, positioning Hyderabad as a major cargo hub. Known for navigating shareholder complexity, regulatory environments and capital-intensive decisions, Ravinder brings strong governance discipline, stakeholder management and people leadership. With growing focus on digitalisation, AI, blockchain, cybersecurity and enterprise risk, he is transitioning from operational leadership to board-level strategic stewardship, positioning himself as a compelling independent director for future-focused aviation, logistics and global services boards.
