And it was almost like I knew when Alex Jones said something because we would get a huge wave of stuff. And so that's when I knew something was up and that's when I knew I needed to step up my game, so to speak. And again, there's nobody in my life and there's nobody I've ever known that's stronger than Alissa . And she just couldn't. It's a very vague term, shouldn't do it anymore. And what that meant was she couldn't make phone calls to set up appointments for the girls anymore. She couldn't she couldn't communicate with people. She shut down. She absolutely shut down." ++ENDS ON SOUNDBITE++ STORYLINE: After watching days of testimony that included the parents of slain children breaking down on the witness stand, a Connecticut jury soon will have the difficult task of coming up with a dollar amount that conspiracy theorist Alex Jones should pay for promoting the idea that the Sandy Hook school shooting was a hoax. A judge last year found Jones and his company, Free Speech Systems, liable by default for defaming and inflicting emotional distress on the plaintiffs — eight families who lost loved ones in the 2012 massacre and an FBI agent who was among the first responders.
