Chocolate Chips Loaf Bread Roux or Bread Improver: • 1/2 cup (125g) fresh milk or evap milk • 1/2 cup (60g) bread flour or APF taken from the 500g for the dough Dough Ingredients : • 1/2 cup (125g) of milk or evaporated milk • 2 tsp (6g) of instant active yeast • 1/2 cup (110g) light brown sugar • 1 large egg, room temperature • 1/2 cup (110g) vegetable oil or canola oil • 500g (3 3/4 cups to 4 cups) Bread flour or all purpose flour • 1 tsp (5g) iodized salt • 1 tbsp vanilla flavoring or 1 tsp vanilla extract Filling: 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (smallest) Eggwash: 1 egg 1 tbsp fresh milk or evap milk • Preheat oven at 180⁰C for 15 minutes. Then bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until golden brown. • Turn the pan around halfway through the baking at around 30 mins if using conventional oven without fan for even cooking.
