Watch U Strappin'?! Ep. 472 - Citizen Tsuno Chrono AN3700-62A on Autodromo Black Stradale Strap

Hey, all. I'm still very much enjoying this new bullhead chronograph in my watch collection, the Citizen Tsuno Chrono Quartz AN3700-62A. It's a modern reissue and slight re-interpretation of the vintage Citizen Challenge Timer 67-9376. The factory bracelet isn't too bad. But, I have imagined this on a variety of other straps. So, I'm going to start playing with aftermarket strap options. Driving hard with the racing motorsports theme of this watch design, what better pairing than to go with a brand that has that as its strong design language? And that brand is Autodromo. I own a navy perforated Saffiano leather rally strap from a previous purchase. Here today, I just purchased and installed a black leather Stradale strap on to the Citizen. I think the unusual octagonal bullhead chronograph design might work well with an unusual strap option. Perhaps a bit funky with the pronounced ribbed texture, it almost looks like small pills or capsules are embedded underneath the leather to create the undulating surface topography of the strap. I think the quirky strap does pretty well with the quirky watch. The strap quality is quite nice with a nicely milled and mostly brushed finished Autodromo signed buckle as its default securing hardware. I chose a classic solid black color as to not compete with, but, to compliment the panda bullhead chronograph design.
