Writing Tibetan with a bamboo pen.

Of the three prominent styles of Tibetan Uchen script, the most practised is the founding khyungdri ཁྱུང་བྲིས་, then there is the lean style of dedri སྡེ་བྲིས་ and lastly nyedri སྙེ་བྲིས་ As illustrated here, Nyedri is perhaps the most different of uchen scripts, stylistically unique much because of the way it is written when using the traditional bamboo pen. As silica rich Bamboo glides more easily on the paper surface, this allows the characteristic pull and push technique.
