Śrī Bhairavāṣṭakam is a powerful Shaiva stotra dedicated to Lord Bhairava, the fierce and compassionate guardian form of Lord Shiva, ruler of Mahākāla (Time) and bestower of Bhukti (worldly well-being) and Mukti (liberation). This sacred hymn describes Bhairava as the Supreme Yogic Lord, protector of Dharma, master of all mantras and nāda (cosmic sound), and the inner guide of yogis who cross the ocean of worldly existence. Daily chanting of Bhairavāṣṭakam is traditionally recommended for fear removal, spiritual protection, courage, clarity, and inner strength. Ideal for: • Bhairava upāsanā • Night meditation & Shaiva sādhanā • Protection from fear, negativity & karmic blocks • Devotees of Shiva, Mahākāla & Kālabhairava • Deep mantra & yogic devotion 📖 FULL ENGLISH TRANSLATION – ŚRĪ BHAIRAVĀṢṬAKAM Verse 1 I take refuge in Śrī Bhairava, who is Rudra and Maheshvara Himself, the supreme Lord of Mahākāla (Time), the very life-force presiding over this universe.
