Welcome to our channel "Maples and Music" After many years of exclusively growing / grafting container grown Japanese maples on our small home nursery we decided to create a youtube channel dedicated to Japanese maples. Our channel shows you how to care for your prized specimens with video's including pruning, re potting, grafting, soil mix, root pruning, fertilizer applications, and much more. I also combine my years of music studying with many original arrangements to accompany the video's. The Japanese maple trees in this video are all "mother" trees that we used for taking cuttings to do all our grafting during our nursery operation years. All the trees are in the ground or in containers on our property. I give detailed description of where they grow best in the garden and the growth habits and coloration thru out the growing seasons.
