This is the story of Sardar Rawel Singh, who spent the first 16 years of his life in the village of Shapur Kanjra, near Lahore. After the Partition, he migrated to India, but his heart remained in the streets, friendships, and memories of his childhood. His biggest wish was to revisit his village, see his home, and reconnect with his past—but life didn’t give him that chance. 80 years later, his daughter Rajwinder Kaur Garha embarked on an emotional journey to fulfill her father’s dream. With a hand-drawn map given to her by her father, she traveled to Pakistan to find the places he once called home. This map became a historical treasure, marking the locations of homes, schools, the Gurdwara, and streets from 78 years ago.
