The Ventrac Sidewalk Drop Spreader is the ultimate tool for easily spreading deicing materials with precision. The primary function of the SA250 Drop Spreader is dropping salt directly down onto a sidewalk. This ultimately prevents salt from spreading onto grass or landscapes, keeping it on desired surfaces and minimizing waste. The Drop Spreader's unique agitation system is designed to prevent bridging of material inside the basin and does not use vibration like most traditional salt spreaders. Without the vibratory component, the spreader is more durable over time, and its stainless steel construction makes it resistant to rust and corrosion. Material is evenly distributed using a unique compression roller system. An easy gate adjustment allows for fine-tuning flow rates based on the type of material being spread and the desired quantity being applied. The wireless remote control regulates five motor speeds for quick flow adjustments from the operator seat. SA250 Drop Spreader holds 200lbs of salt, with an optional extension that holds an additional 200lbs. Designed with a narrow frame and a 40" drop pattern, this spreader is ideal for spreading material on sidewalks and other narrow walkways with precision flow control.
