Innovation Journeys 2020: Startups from Imperial College London and MIT ecosystems

As part of the second session of Innovation Journeys 2020, an event co-hosted by Imperial Business Partners and MIT Industrial Liaison Program, with BT, four startups from the universities' ecosystems presented their companies' solutions to emerging challenges in the clean energy and emobility sectors. SMAP Energy, PolyJoule, Bumblebee Power and Stable talked about how businesses, companies and authorities can all take different leadership approaches to tackling and addressing climate change through their innovations, while also presenting new opportunities for job creation and skills development for those currently working in fossil fuels or less environmentally-friendly industries. After they pitched their solutions, they each discussed areas in which there is substantial growth potential in cleantech and climatetech with Dr Harveen Chugh, Principal Teaching Fellow in Entrepreneurship at Imperial College Business School.
