CNBC Today On NVIDIA Stock, OpenAI Deal, Broadcom Earnings - NVDA Update Hosts of CNBC discuss NVIDIA, NVIDIA stock (NVDA stock), Broadcom earnings, and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang. On Wednesday, Jensen Huang spoke at the Morgan Stanley TMT Conference, and we learned a lot of important details. Jensen said that NVIDIA and OpenAI have finalized an agreement for NVIDIA to invest $30 billion in OpenAI. Jensen said that the original plan of investing $100 billion in OpenAI that was announced back in September is "probably not in the cards" because OpenAI is likely to go public later this year. Jensen shared many more important details as well regarding Anthropic, hyperscalers, compute demand, and so much more. When specifically asked about NVIDIA stock, Jensen said "you can't hold the stock back," because compute translates directly to revenues, and every single company will need compute for revenues in the future. Jensen also believes that, in the future, all software will be agentic, and that the software industry of the future will be much larger than the software industry of today. Looking ahead, we have NVIDIA GTC March 16-19, with a keynote from Jensen Huang scheduled for March 16. NVIDIA has many large long-term growth opportunities in front of it that are in addition to NVIDIA's large datacenter business. Sovereign AI, enterprise AI, AI-native startups, physical AI, and quantum computing are all large long-term growth opportunities for NVIDIA. Blackwell Ultra is ramping quickly, Rubin is on track to launch in 2026, we're also expecting Rubin CPX at the end of 2026, then we're expecting Rubin Ultra in 2027, and later on we're expecting NVIDIA's Feynman in 2028. We have a clear datacenter product roadmap extending into 2028, and Jensen Huang believes there will be $3T-$4T of global AI factory buildout between now and 2030.
