Dubai CrossFit Championship Day 3 Sights & Sounds

Sights and Sounds from the final day of competition at the Dubai CrossFit Championship. 400 Points and shares of a huge prize purse were on the line on the competition floor of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium. The four events were fast and furious starting with a thruster, ring muscle-up couplet in Event 5. Event 6 was the "Athlete's Choice" Event where the Andrea Nisler and Mahmood Shalan chose from a pair of couplets. Each couplet had a six minute time cap and where done back-to-back after a 1 minute rest between the two. The first couplet was a 21-15-9 workout featuring Calories on the echo bike and toes-to-bar. The last part also was 21-15-9 with calories on the rower and bar-facing burpees. The final event was a quick chipper that included rope climbs, shoulder-to-overheads, dumbbell deadlifts and a lunge to the finish. Roman Khrennikov won two of the events on the final day to secure the overall win. Laura Horvath had three top-5 finishes on Day three to secure the title on the women's side.
