It features a generous number of safety features, plenty of space for adults in both rows, a comfortable ride, and above-average fuel economy estimates with its base engine. The Edge's infotainment system is dated compared to its competitors, but it works well and is user-friendly. Ford didn’t make any major changes to the 2018 or 2017 Edge, but the 2016 model gained the SYNC 3 infotainment system as an option, replacing the much maligned MyFord Touch.
