We decided to try out the new Forestry Commision Campsite at Fineshades Wood and we were the only ones there- it was brilliant! Fineshades used to be the CAMC Stamford site, you have to be fully self-sufficient, there is currently no fresh water or Elsan disposal, there is waste water disposal and a toilet block near the cafe. £14 per 24 hours paid by machine / ringo first come first served but there are 40! Yes 40 hard standing pitches, no arrivals after 10pm, and only 3 consecutive nights. Fabulous addition to our local campsites. #fineshades #offgrid #aire #camping #wildcamping
